Bo Bunny Home Decor

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy here to show you a lovely home décor idea you could do with some of your new Pentart Antique Paints.

To start with I gathered together chipboard flags I want to put on my wall.

Using Pentart Antique Crackle Paint System I painted the background and let dry. Then I sanded the edges to create an even more worn look.

From here I gathered 2 of the Pentart contour line paints and created a pattern on the edges. I was inspired by the borders of the Petal Lane collection and frames.
Once dry I dripped a Pentart Media ink and let it spread into the cracks and edges.
Finally I clustered with my Petal Lane embellishments and blooms to and it is ready to place on the wall OR add some photos.

I hope you enjoyed my Petal Lane Flags as much as I loved creating them.

Bo Bunny Aryia Garden Layout

Hello Bo Bunny friends,

Amy here to show you the fun you can have with the Wax Pastes.

For this layout I wanted to add a little dimensional by spreading the bitumen and metallic Antique wax paste across the page. Now you this will resist water so if you want to add watercolor paint perhaps do that first. Or use it as a resist effect.

I then added my photo and cluster my embellishments so that the paste is not covered. By spacing out flowers you can add a feminine feel to the layout

And below is the full layout called Wonderful.

Misc Me with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny friends,

Amy here again with the Faith Collection and Pentart Lasur Paint.

Have you tried Pentart Lasur Paint for Indoor use yet? Its great for staining those wood veneer pieces you have stored up in your stash. This piece had one coat of Lasur Paint and then I was immediately able to stamp over it.
You can also used the the paint with a little water for your Misc Me cards. I great way to create backgrounds. Faith is perfect for creating clusters around.
The faith collection is perfect for Easter photos. Try and keep similar images whether with a stamp to tie in all the different colours.
I hope you enjoyed this look at my Easter Misc Me layout.

Summer ColourBlast

Hello Sweet Colour Blast Friends,

Amy here with another layout this time adding dimension to your already fabulous traditional scrapbook layout. I am a paper crafter first and was introduced to mixed media by being convinced to join a class with paint and BOOM thats when my world opened up. You can still layer paper and add some dimension with your mixed media. Let me show you how.

With this layout I used Shimmer Dust Lush mixing it with a little water I altered a patterned cardstock by brushing it all over the piece. This brought a different watercolour look the already gorgeous cardstock. I then used Colour Blast Paste called Deep Water and using a sweet flower stencil layered in on several pieces of card stock. Then layering the card stock and matching embellisments. I created the above layout

The great part about colourblast paste is the more intricate the stencil the better the design. This is a sweet perfect flower that is a beautiful contrast against the white cardstock.

Materials Used

Colourblast paste and shimmer dust
Cocoa Vanilla Summer Range
Studio 1440 flair
Cutfile from Silhouette America

Always and Forever Bo Bunny

Hello BoBunny friends,

Amy with you today showing you how to create a gorgeous layout using the fabulous Petal Lane collection. And then using Pentart Lasur paint to show you how you can add extra dimension to your paper.

Lets begin Layout 1
When creating with your dies or cutfiles remember you can always layer underneath to fill the gaps. This cutfile I used 2 other pieces of cardstock both sides to fill in the flower.

Now Layout 2 - Fussy fussy fussy cut
This is for the paper hoarder like myself who always gets 2 of every cardstock. I fussy cut around the flower borders to create an extra layer for those flowers. You will need to raise your photo onto foam adhesive as well as your fussy cut so you can appreciate the detail later on.

Layout 3 - Lets get messy with Pentart Lasur

No I would like to show you how much fun it is to paint with Pentart Lasur for Interior on you layout to add that va va voom. Instead of using your enamel dots that I know you are keeping use the back of your paint brush and with the pointy end create of dots around your layout. Adding that yellow paint has tied in the other yellow just that little more.

So here you are One Layout 3 ways using Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur.

ColourBlast Backyard!

Hello Colour Blast Friends,

A different and just as fabulous Amy here to share my first every design for the amazing Colourblast. I am going to do my best and hopefully inspire you to use those lovely little pots a little more often with your scrapbook layouts.

For this background you will need a mosiac stencil, Tangareen Dream Colour Paste ,
Colour Shimmer Dust Candy and Sunflower
and water. (perhaps in a spray bottle)

Start with your stencil diagonal down the page and smear on your Colour Paste. Don't be shy we all love this stuff. Once that has dried enough spray on water liberally on the page. Dust a tiny bit of Candy and Sunflower Colour Shimmer Dust over different parts of your page and tilt your page so it will dribble. Spray more water if you need to. It will warp but once it is in your album it will re flatten

Once that all dries layer your photo and little pieces of matching card. I used snippets from 4 6x4 cards to create the clusters around my photo.
Journal with a good pen and feel free to draw a border around your background.

Here is Backyard

Materials- Flutterby Designs
-Stash

I hope you enjoyed today's tutorial

Bella Rosa Wreath

Hello Crafty Friends,
I am very excited to share my first ever project for Bo Bunny.
I decided to create a little wall décor piece perfect for a party.

I want to show you what I have created using the new Perfect Petal Dies.

Pick 4 of your favourite papers and cut them down to fit them into your die machine.
I cant tell you how many flowers I punched but I generally used 2 flower dies for one piece of cardstock. I inked some edges with a Bo Bunny Ink Pad

Use a needle and thread the flowers onto a piece of string. Then you can style it into a circle wreath.

I glued the dark red flowers and green leaves separately with a quick adhesive.
I grabbed my favourite noteworthy pieces to style behind and in front.
Voila you have a sweet piece for your wall.

Scrapmatts Layouts

Hello My Scrapmatts Friends,

Amy Here, I have been looking forward to showing you my scrapmatts creations for you.

LETS start with Colour Inspire Story Challenge Blog CASE Number 202

For this layout I have used CB5155
Here is Winter
Materials used - Studio Calico Kit, Cutfile from Silhouette
I cut this chipboard into two pieces and painted it with some colourblast paste and sponged gesso over the top to lighten the colour

The next layout I have called Forever in the Sun.
I have used CB4067
 And ST1035
Materials - Colour Blast shimmer powders and pastes (for the seagulls), Cutfile I created, Tim Holtz Distressed Crayons, Scrapmatts and Cocoa Vanilla Studio Hello Sunshine Collection
Let me show you some details
Using the Stencil I used some texture paste around the frame of this layout and painted with Distressed Crayons and water
I've painted the chipboard with Black and Cream Acrylics. Some of the pieces have dimensional magic added as well, The flowers were cut out using the Pixscan Matt and my cameo
Using Colour Blast shimmer powders I created the background behind the chipboard. Its very glittery in real life and really helps the chipboard pop!

I hope you enjoyed my layouts for you this month.
